Doesn’t it just bother you when you try to draw and it doesn’t quite turn out the way you wanted it to?

Well first off let me start with ANYONE CAN LEARN TO DRAW. ANYONE!!!!! You have to understand its all in your head. Drawing is a skill. Anyone can acquire it. But how?

One word: BELIEVE

Be inspired to draw. If you don’t believe you can acquire anything

Start off by sketching, it might not be beautiful but what your really doing is improving your skills. Slowly but surely you will get there.

When sketching, make sure you start out with shapes. An easy way to sketch is to think of it as layers.
Start off with a circle lightly and then draw on that circle a face. A little more harder than you did with the circle. This way you can get your proportions down, rather than just winging it.

I like to get prepared when i draw. i suggest to use these tools.

Pencil: Well duh but find a special one and always use it when your drawing.
Pencil set: You don’t need this but if you want a lot of different shades of a pencil and like shading I highly recommend this
Kneaded Eraser: Most amazing thing ever, its like the dodge tool on Photoshop. Also its an endless eraser that never gets too dirty. Look it up.
Cue tip or Blender: I bought a blender for like 2 dollars and its worth it, it will smudge the pencil together for an amazing realistic effect. But a cue tip works just fine.

Make a goal to try to make a portrait by looking at a photo and drawing it on to paper.
Remember! They don’t have to look perfect. You need to make sure you have pencil skills.
Practice makes perfect!

When your choosing a photo reference, try not to draw depth or shade in. You want to make sure
that your ability to draw proportions is improving.

Maybe online tutorials will help you out. I’ve been drawing for 3 years now and i now too, can draw photos realistic
