Linda Krukar
A strong artistic background, attention to critical details and an eye for quality design are a few of the characteristics that set Linda Krukar apart from other watercolor artists. Primarily self-taught in watercolor, Linda has attended workshops that have allowed her to fine-tune her skills and create breathtaking images. Coming from a commercial art education, Linda has utilized this background to start a successful sign business. Strong graphic art ability in her sign business transcends into her watercolor design. Her pieces are unique in the use of a full palette of brilliant colors that gives her subject matter intensity and character. From wedding portraits and children, to wildlife and scenic views, Linda creates special memories in one-of-a-kind watercolor designs. Her art encompasses a wide spectrum of subject matter and using photographs as references give the finished piece depth, brilliance and personality. Several pieces are available in giclee prints. Most images are available in note cards. Linda has been an active member of the Dousman and Oconomowoc Area Chambers of Commerce and is also very active in giving back to her community through mentoring programs and service projects. She is the Past President of the Dousman Area Chamber of Commerce and was awarded the 1999 Business Person of the Year for her outstanding contributions to business in the greater Dousman area.
